The drop: March 2 - 8 ‘23
In 2018, Ethereum creator Vitalik Buterin, RadicalxChange founder Glen Weyl, and economist Zoe Hitzig co-authored “Liberal Radicalism” – a paper that introduced a concept for a more equitable and pluralistic way to fund public goods, known as quadratic funding.
Gitcoin and Metalabel collaborated to release GITCOIN PRESENTS: The Quadratic Funding Collection as an open and limited edition on-chain record to commemorate this work and raise funds for public goods.
The Open Edition on chain record contains a new digital copy of the whitepaper signed by the three authors and two essays by Gitcoin’s co-founders celebrating its impact. Twelve special Signature Edition records include physical copies of the whitepaper hand-signed by the original three authors.
Funds raised by this record will be split between the Gitcoin Matching Grant Pool and the Plurality Institute, both of which fund and support public goods projects.
